How Ordering Will Work

  • At Sweet Carolina Crafted, we offer a mix of RTS-Ready to Ship and Pre-Order/ Made to Order items.

  • A limited number of seasonal & holiday door hangers/porch leaners will typically be released every Friday. I will also list Holiday/Seasonal items for pre-order. All other collection items will be available to pre-order year-round.

  • Please be sure to check the listing description before purchasing to see whether your item is RTS or Pre-Order/Made to Order, as turnaround times may vary.

  • RTS: READY TO SHIP

  • Ready to Ship items are already made and ready to go! These items will typically be packaged and shipped within 3-5 business days after your order is placed. Only a selection of available designs will be added to the shop and opened for ordering on Friday’s. Items are available on a first come, first served basis, and once the week’s availability is filled, ordering will close until the following Friday.

  • PRE-ORDER / MADE TO ORDER

    Pre-Order and Made to Order items are created after your order is placed. Please allow approximately 2-3 weeks for your item to be completed before shipping. When I post a pre-order item, I will list the expected turnaround time in the item’s description.

    This allows me to give every piece the time and attention it deserves while keeping turnaround times manageable and quality consistent.

  • Wedding Orders

    In our wedding collection you will find personalized signs, decor, and other custom pieces designed to help make your special day even more memorable. Wedding orders are often created specifically for your event, so additional time may be needed for design, personalization, approval, and production. Please be sure to place your wedding order in a timely manner and provide your wedding or event date when ordering. I recommend ordering as early as possible to allow enough time for your item to be created and shipped before your special day. If you need a custom wedding item that is not listed in our collection, please reach out before placing your order so we can discuss your design needs and timeline.

  • Looking for Something Custom?

    I’m happy to accept custom order requests! If you have a specific design, color, personalization, or idea in mind, visit the Contact page and complete the custom order form. Your request will be sent directly to me, and I’ll be in touch to discuss the details and availability.

  • Natural Wood Disclaimer

Each Sweet Carolina Crafted piece is handmade using natural wood. Because wood is a natural material, variations in grain, knots, texture, color, and other natural characteristics are to be expected. Wood may also absorb paint and stain differently from piece to piece.

These natural variations are not considered defects and are part of what makes each handcrafted item unique. While I take great care in selecting materials and creating each piece, no two items will be exactly alike.

Wood may also naturally expand, contract, or develop slight imperfections over time due to changes in temperature, humidity, or exposure to the elements. My work is not weatherproof, though I do I seal all of my signs to help protect them. For the longest life of your piece, I recommend they be used under a covered porch or behind a storm door. You may also reseal them with clear polyacrylic overtime.

Absolutely no refunds, returns, or cancellations!!! These are handmade items and once the purchase goes through, I will not refund, exchange, return, or cancel.

Children’s Room Decor

Decorative wall decor only - NOT A TOY! Keep out of reach of children. Do not hang over crib, bed, changing table, or any other sleeping/play area a child may be. Mounting hardware NOT included. Please purchase appropriate hardware for your wall type and mount securely. Customer is responsible for proper installation and placement.

Shipping Policy

  • Turnaround & Shipping Time

    Please note that the turnaround time listed for your order refers to the time needed for me to create and prepare your item for shipment. Turnaround time does not include the time your package spends in transit after it has been shipped. Turnaround time may vary depending on order volume, personalization, and the size or complexity of the item. If your order is needed by a specific date, please use my contact form to email me that date and the item you’re interested in. I will respond in 1-3 business days to let you know if I can fulfill your order by that date.

    Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, delivery times are outside of my control. While most ground shipments arrive within approximately one week, delays can occasionally occur.

    Shipping & Tracking

    Ready-to-Ship items include FREE Standard UPS ground shipping within the U.S. Other products may have separate shipping rates, which will be shown at checkout when applicable. Local pickup is available for eligible orders in Boiling Springs SC. All shipped orders include UPS ground shipping and are subject to UPS carrier liability and claim terms unless otherwise stated.

    Once your shipping label has been created, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout. Please be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see your tracking email.

    Tracking information may take some time to update after a label is created and the package is accepted by the carrier.

    Please Double-Check Your Address

    Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Shipping labels are generated using the address provided with your order.

    Sweet Carolina Crafted is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address when that address was provided by the customer at checkout. If you notice an error in your shipping address, please contact me as soon as possible. I will gladly correct it if your shipping label has not yet been created.

    Lost or Damaged Packages

    Every effort is made to carefully package your order so that it arrives safely. However, shipping damage and lost packages can occasionally happen.

    If your order arrives damaged, please contact me promptly through the Contact page and keep the item, packaging, and shipping box. Photos of the item and packaging may be required to submit an insurance claim.

    If your package appears to be lost or has gone without a tracking update for an extended period, please contact me so I can help begin the claim process with the shipping carrier.

    For a shipment that is confirmed lost or damaged and the carrier approves the claim, I will work with you to provide an appropriate replacement or refund.

    I know how exciting it is to wait for something made especially for you, and I want your order to arrive safely and be something you love. Thank you for your patience and understanding when unexpected shipping delays or carrier issues occur.
